Product Marketing

We are looking for Product Marketers who are energized by the challenge of telling great stories about customer success, creating compelling strategies to drive pipeline, working in cross-functional teams and doing great product marketing that shakes up the market. Oh, and wants to have fun while doing it!

As the lead Product Marketer, you will be responsible for driving awareness and demand of our Apps through the lenses of customer stories, sales enablement, and thought leadership content.

Working alongside colleagues in sales, product development and implementation you will live the customer journey and help inform and retell the magic of how our Surfwriter Apps for Salesforce help our customers realize a much greater value from their Salesforce investment.

Successful candidates will have a passion for taking the complex and making it simple and for marketing through compelling stories.

Your Impact

  1. Create a brand plan and brand strategy for Surfwriter Apps to ensure that all aspects of marketing and sales activities align with the ethos and goals of the brand.
  2. Partner closely with Product Management to understand functionality, define marketing strategy, develop top line customer narratives and compelling content.
  3. Develop innovative marketing strategies and content to gain VP and C-level mindshare among Salesforce Customers.
  4. Work with Sales to inspire, motivate and ultimately win new flagship customers through the sales cycle and generate the best customer stories in the business.
  5. Produce high fidelity externally facing content including customer stories, webinars, data sheets, user instructions, eBooks, dynamic digital content, social media posts and more for all funnel stages. Create compelling and easy to understand internally facing content including sales training, competitive positioning, FAQs.
  6. Create sales tools that will assist in all phases of the sales cycle.
  7. plan and manage Surfwriter presence at tradeshows, local and regional networking events

Required Skills/Experience:

  1. 5+ years experience in product marketing at a high tech company.
  2. Experience with marketing technology services and products.
  3. Experience with Salesforce, AppExchange and the Partner Ecosystem a huge plus.
  4. Dynamic, confident personality with ability to successfully define and drive project execution with minimal guidance amidst multiple priorities and goals.
  5. Experience with business processes such as sales operations, revenue management and compensation.
  6. Proven track record of crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content.
  7. Experience working with sales teams and internal product teams.
  8. Hands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets, including eBooks, sales tools and and succinct slide pitch-decks.
  9. Proven track record of launching and growing hit products.
  10. Strong skills in communication, presenting, writing and ability to work well cross-functionally.
  11. Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.
