Business Development Representative

We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing, and fun-loving person. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding sales quota, loves the thrill of the hunt, and is capable of building and growing the pipeline of the business. They also have experience navigating through organizations, doing deep discovery and speaking to multiple decision makers.

They are the front line of the sales process and spend their days prospecting and cold calling trying to help prospects to automate their Sales Compensation in Salesforce with Surfwriter Apps. They are measured by their seamless handoffs of qualified pipeline to our Account Executive Sales team.

Tasks and Impact

  1. Research, identify, and tenaciously generate weekly new opportunities
  2. Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline; maintain a high volume of activity including outbound cold calls, emails, & social selling
  3. Consistently exceed monthly and annual sales quota and be well-compensated for doing so
  4. Responsible for accurately tracking prospect interactions and information in Salesforce
  5. Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts
  6. Evangelize Surfwriter Apps and Services
  7. Thrive on change while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 1 - 3 years of full-time corporate sales experience (software sales is a plus)
  2. Proven track record of success prospecting for new business
  3. Bachelor's degree from an accredited University is strongly preferred
  4. Experience being held to metrics a plus
  5. Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product sale
  6. Excellent written/verbal communication skills

The ideal Implementation Consultant for Surfwriter Sales Compensation is expert in gathering and analyzing customer requirements and designing comprehensive solutions that are flexible and adaptable to the client's needs. Strong Salesforce Administration, Data Modeling, Accounting and Salesforce Consulting skills are key.

Your Impact

We are looking for Product Marketers who are energized by the challenge of telling great stories about customer success, creating compelling strategies to drive pipeline, working in cross-functional teams and doing great product marketing that shakes up the market. Oh, and wants to have fun while doing it!

As the lead Product Marketer, you will be responsible for driving awareness and demand of our Apps through the lenses of customer stories, sales enablement, and thought leadership content.

Working alongside colleagues in sales, product development and implementation you will live the customer journey and help inform and retell the magic of how our Surfwriter Apps for Salesforce help our customers realize a much greater value from their Salesforce investment.

Successful candidates will have a passion for taking the complex and making it simple and for marketing through compelling stories.

Your Impact

  1. Create a brand plan and brand strategy for Surfwriter Apps to ensure that all aspects of marketing and sales activities align with the ethos and goals of the brand.
  2. Partner closely with Product Management to understand functionality, define marketing strategy, develop top line customer narratives and compelling content.
  3. Develop innovative marketing strategies and content to gain VP and C-level mindshare among Salesforce Customers.

Required Skills/Experience:

  1. 5+ years experience in product marketing at a high tech company.
  2. Experience with marketing technology services and products.

  4. Dynamic, confident personality with ability to successfully define and drive project execution with minimal guidance amidst multiple priorities and goals.
  5. Experience with business processes such as sales operations, revenue management and compensation.

Salesforce App Developer

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of custom App Development on the Salesforce Platform and loves the challenge of developing elegant solutions for complex problems. They have strong communication and team work skills and are expert at distilling business requirements and user stories into technical requirements. Strong organizational and follow-up skills are key.


  1. lead the testing and implementation of Salesforce Native App development efforts, including coding, configuration, maintenance, installation, development of test methods, debugging, as well as managing timelines and producing technical documentation.
  2. Negotiate solutions to complex business scenarios with multiple stakeholders and business use cases/agendas.
  3. Define, manage & execute development resource tasks.
  4. Coordinate solution testing and end user sign off.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 2 years development experience.
  2. Minimum of 2 years development experience with JavaScript,, VisualForce and APEX, CSS, Salesforce Lightning Design System.
  3. Minimum of 2 years experience of requirements gathering, testing & training experience.

Account Executive

The Account Executive creates, identifies and closes deals for App Subscriptions and Professional Services. This person must be a self-starting closer who can create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time and work with existing clients as well as new logo opportunities. We look for business athletes who are aggressive team players - hungry, nimble and intelligent - with the ability and willingness to close a mix of complex enterprise and more transactional deals.

About the Position

  1. Create and drive revenue for Surfwriter Apps and Services.
  2. Generate business opportunities through professional networking and cold-calling.
  3. Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation via networking, associations, etc.
